Life is About to Change, Again.

So, we found out last night that we CAN move in to our beautiful country home. The only issue now is talking to our current Landlord about breaking our lease. He seems like a nice enough guy that he wouldn't mind. He told us the last man to stay here was only here for two weeks [which seems like a waste of money paying the deposit and first months rent for just that.] So, maybe we can work out a deal to only pay by week until we get moved out. It only took a day to move us in here but we didn't have anything for the kitchen or living room at the time. We've since acquired ALOT of furniture.

Hopefully everything turns out well and I can start packing this weekend. I hate moving. I've moved alot with my family. My Dad is/was a Church of God Preacher [yes, them "Holy Rollers" that everyone warns you about. I've yet to see one Holy Roll, but I digress] and we were always going somewhere new. For me, that equaled out to 3 Elementary Schools, 1 Private School, 1 Middle School, 2 High Schools, Homeschooling 3 times, and I ended up getting my GED at 16. I wouldn't take any of my moving back because I have met SO many fantastic and interesting people.

I started out in North Carolina, first we lived with my Mom's parents.
Then, we moved to a little town up the highway.
After that, Dad got a church in Moorhead Minnesota [which is a kind of joint town with Fargo North Dakota], we lived in two different places there,
then after 4 years we moved to Cohassette Minnesota and lived on a lake for a few months,
and then we moved to Deer River Minnesota.
After 4 years of that, we moved back to North Carolina, Stony Point, to be exact.
After a few years we finally moved back to my hometown. We Lived there for a while, and
Mom and Dad finally purchased their first home. So, we moved again, on down the highway a little bit.
Then, I got married & moved here with Hubby & Bella,
& now we're moving again. It never ends.

Bella is at my MIL's so, Monkey & I are going to get something to eat at Bojangles
or Hobangles, as I prefer it.
    Who wants some Bo Rounds?
[It Amazes Me How So Many People On Here Have
No Freaking Idea What a Bojangles Is ...

haha What is bojangles? the doggy is really cute by the way. I LOVE doggys. I want to move, I just don't have the money to do so :(

@SimplyNita - Bojangles is all about the Chicken and Biscuits =] They sell a majority of southern foods, sort of like a KFC, except they serve breakfast and they serve it all day. I love my Monkey =] Hubby said she's not pretty or cute in any way, but I rescued her a couple years ago. She's my darlin' =] WE really don't have the money to move either. This a pure miracle that we're getting this place. We don't have to turn the water or power on, and the rent is really cheap. If we had enough money we would move into our own place.

good luck with your landlord and moving.  I hate moving too.

  • lilmizzie27

@SpongeBobScaredyPants - It's a pain! If hubby had his way he would just throw everything in boxes with a hope and "I couldn't care less" if it was in one piece when we got there LOL

I can totally sympathize on moving. My dad is also a preacher, so my childhood/teen years was about like yours. And then there was the military...lol. I've moved 4 times since I got married 8 years ago. And we're not done yet. Once we have the money for a larger house, we'll be moving again. After that, I'm not moving again! LOL!

I hate moving, too. I feel your pain. We always moved a lot when I was little too, I went to about 13 different schools I think. And I think at one point only went to a school for 2 weeks before switching again. lol. I hope my kids never have to go through that, it's tough and confusing.

But I hope the move goes smoothly, and quick! :)

@rbmegert -  I am surprised at you! Bojangles is all about the Chicken and
Biscuits =] They sell a majority of southern foods, sort of like a KFC,
except they serve breakfast and they serve it all day.

@PetersPrincess - Thank you, I hope it does too! Switching schools is a hassle. I was ALWAYS the new girl, haha ... it sort of became my personality finder ... =]

@Brettsgrrl729 - Ah, my fellow PK. Where would I be without you? :P Ugh, plus military ... I couldn't imagine, although hubby is now considering it. I don't prefer it but come what may with all these chitlin's lol

I did a lot a moving over the years before my family settle in my current hometown. I lived here for almost 15 years. I don't know if I'll stay when my kid gets older.

I hope to be into a house by the time my child is 2. I think I will try and buy a house instead of rent. Big decision so I want to make sure I'm going to want to stay there a while.
  • lilmizzie27

@DrawkcabTrebor - I say if you know about how many kids you'll want/have and you can afford it, to definitely buy. Although, you never know about jobs and such with the way the economy is. Plus, with so many foreclosures, buying is a good idea now.

  • lilmizzie27

@Lostchild1962 - I haven't seen you online in so long! Thank you for stopping by, how have you been?

  • lilmizzie27

@ANVRSADDAY - Thats way too many boxes and newspapers for me! LOL.
